Savage Maidens are Recruiting!
Posted by Merage on Monday, June 16 @ 12:37:10 CDT
Raids Savage Maidens is a casual guild that's just recently begun transitioning to a casual raiding guild. We're looking for people to fill out two 10-man raid groups-- primarily DPS and healers, though we won't turn down tanks, and we'd love to be able to field enough for 25 mans.

Our progression raiding schedule is mostly Fridays (10pm-2am), Saturdays (10pm-1am), and Sundays (9pm-12am). Fridays we do Zul' Aman or Gruul's, and Saturday-Sunday Karazhan farming. During the week, other raids and instances are scheduled as well at various times in the evening.

We do not care about:

* Your class or (mostly) spec. We're not a hardcore raiding guild out to set up the ideal raid. We're a group of friends seeking to have fun and overcome challenges in each others' company. A retribution paladin or a moonkin druid can expect to be given the same consideration as a combat rogue or a fire mage. We feel that everyone has the potential to bring something to the group -- and if you're capable of fulfilling your role, that's good enough for us. We do ask that you spec for PvE, or at least respec in such a way on raid nights; many of us enjoy PvP, but the priorities are much different.

* Your gear, within reason. If you're a good player, fun to be around, but you aren't quite geared for Karazhan yet... as long as you're putting forth the effort, we'll help you get there.

* Applications. Meh... Just talk to Lobotomy, Merage, Karis, Rainnajax, or Thunderr in game, and we'll give you a shot. And be sure to register and leave a short post about yourself on the forums.

We do care about:

* Guild theme. Female characters only, sorry. (We don't care about *your* gender, though. If you're a male playing a female character, that's fine.)

* Your personality. We're a casual guild, and we're pretty friendly. We want to keep it that way. If you don't play well with others, that's a problem. If you're not mature enough (or maybe immature enough) to handle our frankly sometimes disturbing guild-channel conversations, that's a problem. If you're not willing to help out your guildmates as they'll be helping out you, that's a problem. If you're an hour late for a raid you signed up for, that could be a problem. (Emergencies do happen.)

* Your ability to listen and follow instructions in a raid setting. Everyone misses things or makes mistakes. If it's happening constantly, that's probably a problem.

Anyone is welcome. We'd especially like to have at least one of each of the following:
* Shadow priests
* Rogues
* Shamans (any spec)
* Resto Druids
